We will call/text you when your child is ready to go home, so that you can pick them up as soon as possible. There are lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance to the theater while you wait.

12/13 DRESS REHEARSAL @ SEASIDE

12/14 SUNDAY PERFORMANCE @ Grand | Ritz

• 1:00 PM Student Drop-Off with staff and volunteers (To volunteer, see below!)
• 3:30 PM Lobby/Will Call Opens
• 4:30 PM Performance Begins
• 7:00 PM Students Go Home

Volunteers: We need parent volunteers to help in the dressing rooms on performance day. When your child performs, you will be shown to a special seating area to watch them. To keep all children safe, only official Seaside volunteers, who are signed up in advance, will be allowed backstage at the theater. Please click here to sign up!

Hair & Make-Up: We ask that ALL students wear basic stage make-up to allow the audience to see their faces and expressions. While it may look like a lot off stage, under the bright lights of the theater, from the audience’s perspective it will look very natural. What to Pack Students should bring their Backstage Box, with hair, make-up, shoes, costume undergarments & accessories, as well as a water bottle, and dinner/snacks. All personal items, including shoes, should be labeled.

Backstage Boxes: We highly recommend ALL students bring a “Backstage Box” to help keep all of their personal items organized backstage at performances. We recommend one with a sturdy latch AND top compartment, this Office Depot brand box can be purchased via Amazon at this link.

Costumes & Attire: Seaside provides performance costumes, however, there are some basics all students need to bring. Please make sure to label all of your student’s personal clothing items, ESPECIALLY SHOES! Seaside will keep all costumes after the show.

• Find your student’s class(es) in the chart below. Next to it, you’ll see the clothing and shoes your child needs to bring, as well as any specific notes for their hair. For any of the items you are responsible for supplying, we have put together a list of recommendations that you can access here.
• Skin-Colored Leotards: We ask that all students wear skin-colored, tank style leotards when they arrive, which will be worn under all costumes and allow for easy changing in the big shared dressing rooms, where there are no private changing spaces.
