EARLY CHILDHOOD SHOW | MAY 26

Location: The Grand | Ritz Theater, 301 Grand Avenue, Escondido

Tickets: Please click here to purchase tickets.

Schedule:

  • 9:30 AM: EC Students dropped off for dress rehearsal (Must sign-in with Seaside volunteers/staff.)
  • 10:30 AM: Will Call Opens
  • 11:00 AM: Performance Begins
  • 11:30 AM: Show concludes
  • 11:45 AM: Students must be signed out to go home

Student Entrance/Exit is on Juniper Street. Please look for the Student Check-In/Out Signs.

Volunteers: We are looking for parent volunteers to fill a variety of roles, from Will Call to dressing rooms! Please consider signing up for at least one shift. Only official Seaside volunteers will be allowed backstage at the theater. This policy helps keep ALL students safe as it allows us to know who is supposed to be backstage, so that we can better monitor students. Please click here to sign up to volunteer.

Hair & Make-Up: We ask that ALL students wear basic stage make-up for the performance. While it may look like a lot off stage, under the bright lights of the theater, from the audience’s perspective it will look very natural. Without stage makeup, students will look very washed out, and it will be hard to see their faces and expressions. Ms. Elyssa created this tutorial video going over basic stage make-up. If your student needs stage make-up, we recommend using a small kit like this.

Costumes & Attire: Seaside will provide performance costumes, however, there are some basics that each student will need to bring. Please make sure to label all of your student’s personal clothing items, ESPECIALLY SHOES! Seaside will keep all costumes after the show. Find your student’s class(es) in the chart below. Next to it, you’ll see the clothing and shoes your child needs to bring, as well as specific notes for how their hair should be done.
