From Ballet to Hip Hop, Musical Theater Dance to Tap, Seaside has the dance class for you.
Whether you love singing or acting, musical theater or Shakespeare, we have a class for you.
Painting, drawing, and more, our teachers will help you take your artistic skills to the next level.
Early childhood exposure to the arts encourages young children to express themselves in new ways, to understand and appreciate a variety of art forms, and to develop their fine and gross motor skills through fun, structured activities.
Movement, play, art, and mindfulness intertwine to create a fun and engaging class. Students will learn about mindfulness, as well as how to pay attention to how their body feels, how their breath feels, and how to stay present.
Fridays 10:35-11:20 AM
Dancers will learn fundamental dance skills, work on their gross motor abilities, and gain confidence while getting an introduction to Hip Hop. Fun for all students with a focus on creative expression and social emotional growth.
Mondays 4:15-5:00 PM
At Seaside Arts Center,
we cultivate ARTISTS for LIFE.
Our students learn not only to REPLICATE, but to CREATE; not only to MASTER, but to INTUIT; not only to UNDERSTAND, but to APPRECIATE; and not only to OBSERVE, but to EMPATHIZE.
We dream of a world where arts education is available to every child no matter where they are from or what their circumstances. Through our partnerships with schools and organizations that reach underserved youth, we work to make that dream a reality.
Not every child can make it to a quality after-school dance studio, so we bring the studio to you or your school! We offer Creative Dance, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Musical Theater and more!
Seaside Arts Center is home to the Seaside Children's Dance Ensemble and the Seaside Children's Theater Ensembles. These merit and experience-based programs perform throughout the year in the San Diego community.
Seaside Arts Center is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing equitable fine arts education. Through our generative approach, students develop their own, unique voice within their art; refine their individual style; and enhance their confidence, compassion and creativity.
On site, in Carmel Valley, San Diego, students have classes in theater, dance, visual arts, and more. Each program emphasizes process over product, in order to boost children's belief in themselves as artists. Time and again, as a result of this unique approach, students have not only produced exceptional work, but because of their personal stake in the product, they are empowered them to speak with conviction and confidence about that work. Our robust scholarship program ensures that these opportunities are afforded to any child who wants them, regardless of means and circumstance.
Seaside Arts Center also partners with organizations throughout the San Diego community to reach children who would otherwise have little to no exposure to arts education. Through these partnerships our teachers currently provide the same high caliber arts education to students who are experiencing housing instability and to children whose parents are currently deployed or are in the penal system.
