Please register in advance via the FREE TRIAL link below. Our last day for trials for the Spring Semester is March 30. After that students may try classes, but can’t enroll in performing arts classes until Summer/Fall sessions.
Our dance program safely and effectively trains students in the technical skills necessary, while encouraging creativity and personal artistry, as well as emotional, cognitive, and social growth that translates into all other aspects of their lives. Classes will participate in a performance on May 18 & 19, 2024.
Early Childhood Creative Dance classes encourage young children to express themselves physically, to understand and appreciate a variety of forms of music, and to develop their gross motor skills through fun, structured activities.
An introduction to Isadora Duncan's style and choreography with a focus on creativity, personal expression, and musicality. Widely considered the “Mother of Modern Dance,” Duncan created a style and technique grounded in nature and science upon which generations of modern dancers built. This technique gives children a solid foundation upon which to branch out into any dance technique.
From box steps to Jazz walks, shuffles to digs, this class will introduce young children to the rhythms and terminology of both Jazz and Tap in a fun, friendly, and creative environment.

Seaside Arts Center's Contemporary & Modern Dance program is built upon classical Modern dance techniques in a contemporary context. Modern Dance, like Modern Art, tends to be more abstract than classical dance. In these classes, students gain a solid foundational technique that allows them to develop their own style of dance.

Students learn and perform Isadora Duncan's choreography, teach audiences about the history of the work and their own lineage within the Duncan legacy, and develop their own artistry and voice through dance. Performances feature historic modern dance as well as contemporary choreography, and choreography created by dancers.

Seize the Day with your friends at Seaside Arts Center in Newsies, Jr! Inspired by true story of children standing up for themselves in the Newsboys strike of 1899, this exciting musical, filled with powerful songs, tells a dramatic story of learning that as a united front, any group can raise their voices and change the world!

Students will develop their own voices while learning to sing in an ensemble with others. After warming up their voices and bodies to sing safely and practice good musicianship, students will learn to sing in harmony while working on rhythm and listening skills.
Learn foundational vocal techniques in a variety of styles from musical theater, to opera to pop! Lessons are tailored to all levels of proficiency, from beginners to advanced vocalists. We employ the joyful cornerstones: diction, breath, pitch, and tone. The first half of your private class will be technical exercises, the second half, and engaging singing repertoire. There will be a performance at Seaside on Sunday, May 5, 2024, for all private lesson students.
Learn to read music and play your favorite songs, in these private lessons tailored to your child’s skill-levels and desires. Start from the most basic music theory to more complex rhythms and chords, these lessons will give students a strong foundation that can carry through to more advanced piano skills or any instrument or vocal technique. There will be a performance at Seaside on Sunday, May 5, 2024, for all private lesson students.
Seaside Arts Center’s Visual Arts program provides a space for students to explore, develop, and express their ideas while learning various media, styles, and techniques. All Visual Art classes will participate in a gallery show on May 18, 2024.
Students will dive into art, exploring a wide array of mediums, including paint, sculpture, textile weaving, mixed media, (and more!), as they learn to express themselves and their own ideas through art. They’ll use their imaginations and create one-of-a-kind art works as they learn about color, shape, and 3D form. The Spring Semester will include all new projects and pieces, making it perfect for both new and returning students!
Students will discover their own artistic abilities through drawing, painting, printmaking, drawing, bookmaking, and sculpture. They'll tap into their imaginations, creating new works of art inspired by influential artists and art styles from around the world.

Students will discover their own artistic abilities by learning one of the oldest art forms in the world. They'll explore different techniques of hand sewing and will have the opportunity to work with different textiles while learning to create and mend clothing. They’ll also explore fiber art through embroidery, and create a variety of projects utilizing skills gained in class.
