Seaside is launching a new program of Master Classes and we hope your child can join us!
Ages: 7 & Up!
Cost: $50 (Multi-Class and Multi-Student Discounts all apply!)
Master classes will take place on select Saturdays from 2:00-4:00 PM.
Noa is an experienced instructor who has previously served as an Adjunct Professor of Tap at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. And have conducted workshops at reputable institutions such as Grossmont College, MIT, Northeastern, and Brandeis. With over 17 years of teaching experience, Noa instructed at various dance studios in MA and San Diego, as well as at festivals including Beantown Tapfest, Ignite Dance Competition, and Southern VT Dance Festival. Furthermore, Noa is the founder and director of DrumatiX, an award-winning tap dance and percussion company that has performed at prestigious venues such as Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, Pasadena Playhouse, and Clayton Opera House, as well as for clients like Cisco.
For the past 4 years, she has been an active teaching artist with Arts for Learning MA and Arts Education Connection San Diego. Her company also conducts in-school assemblies for students K-12, and we have received numerous awards and accolades, including the San Diego Airport Performing Arts Residency. Additionally, Noa have received national recognition and awards for choreography, entertainment, and concept at the national level with my students, including nominations for IDA Best Tap and National Titles.
Master Class will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, which includes a 30 minute Q&A session.
Kenny Jezek is a Master Teacher, Director, Producer, and Choreographer in several cities in the United States. In this comprehensive class students will work on technique (through specific warm up exercises), progressions across the floor and a combo.
Anna Fitzgerald is a theater maker based in Southern California, and is the co-founder of ISLE Theater Company. In this class, students will learn the art of playwright and make their own plays and scripts.
Noa Barankin is the founder and director of DrumatiX, and has been a active teaching artist across the San Diego County. Noa's workshop covers body percussion, creating a junkyard items orchestra, and dance/drumming using buckets and drumsticks.
