What's better than getting in a great workout? Getting in a great workout, while also supporting a good cause! Every class you take at Seaside Arts Center helps support our not-for-profit organization's mission of providing equitable fine arts education to all.
Our adult fitness and dance program emphasizes aerobic and anerobic fitness in an warm, friendly, and inclusive environment. Our teachers are adept at meeting each client where they are and helping them reach their health and fitness goals.
At Seaside Arts Center, your first trial class is ALWAYS free! We want you to find the perfect class, and love your experience here. So come try out a class, meet our instructors, and see what Seaside is all about! Please register in advance for your free trial class via the link below. (You will not be charged until after your trial class if you would like to continue.)
The 10-Class Card is good for any adult class at Seaside Arts Center, regardless of class length. After purchasing, your card will be held at the studio and marked each time you take a class. The 10-Class Card does not expire.
We are now offering an unlimited membership good for all adult classes at Seaside Arts Center for just $150/month. Credit card must be on file for monthly auto-payment.
Clients should enroll in classes through the Registration Portal linked below. In the class listings, all adult classes will have “ADULT” listed first in the class name.
During enrollment, you will pay for the first class at the drop in rate. When you attend class, if you would like to upgrade to a 10-Class Card ($225) or an Unlimited Monthly Membership ($150/month), we will process this for you. (The fee paid for your first class will be applied to the upgrade.)
If you prefer to pay the drop-in rate at each class, we accept cash, check, Venmo, or Paypal, or we will charge the card on file for your account.

A traditional Pilates mat class, tailored to each participant's level.
Fridays from 8:30-9:30 AM
A vinyasa style yoga class with elements of yogic philosophy weaved in. Combining mindful movement and breath, participants will move energy in their bodies while strengthening and stretching muscles. Expect to move, sweat, breathe, and walk away feeling renewed. All levels welcome.

In Contemporary Dance, we focus on our natural flow and musical sensibilities, with a goal of moving intentionally and with abandonment. Contemporary Dance combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet.
Thursdays from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
A combination of traditional modern dance techniques for a full body workout. Gain coordination, balance, flexibility, and stamina. Guided improvisation exploring the elements of dance for a creative outlet not found anywhere else!

A Ballet class for adults who want to work on their technique or for those who used to dance and are ready to get back to the barre! We learn to use ballet as a tool to connect with our muscles with a focus on gentle strengthening and flexibility.

A Ballet class for adults who want to perfect their technique and artistry. Classes follow the traditional structure of a ballet class: barre, center, across-the-floor, reverence.
Fridays from 6:00-7:00 PM
An introduction to the fundamentals of rhythm tap for adult dancers, with an emphasis on fun, community, and fitness!
Thursdays from 7:30-8:30 PM
Perfect for the well seasoned tap dancer who is looking to push themselves in both skill and rhythm. Join a community of like minded tap dancers and get a great workout in while doing it!
